Zusammen schufen sie ein äußerst gelungenes Album, eines der schönsten, das mir in den letzten Monaten zu Ohren kam. Von intensiven Balladen über dynamische Stücke wie „Surgin“ oder „J.G’s Dance“, bis zum coolen, rockig unterlegten „Tatort“ reicht die Bandbreite. Und das Titelstück ist tatsächlich ein Ohrwurm,............. sehr empfehlenswert. Helmut Hillebrand

Dieses in der Berliner Jazzszene seit geraumer Zeit fest etablierte Quartett legt mit dieser CD eine in jeder Hinsicht eigenständige Produktion vor, den sämtliche Stücke stammen von den Mitgliedern des Quartetts. Man sollte diese CD als eine Art Gesamtkunstwerk betrachten, das in neun Teile gegliedert ist und einem Konzept mit sehr lyrischer, teilweise meditativer Grundstimmung folgt.
